Friday Finds: Black culottes

The culotte. Not quite a midi skirt and not quite pants. It's an indecisive girls best friend. It's also a great option for fall, when the weather is cooling but not cold enough to be bundled up. 

There are several ways to style this fall staple. Flats or heels. Boots or wedges. You really have a lot of options. The key to making sure the culotte looks great is proportion. Pay for the tailoring to make sure it fall about an inch or two around midcalf. Too long and it looks dowdy, too short and it breaks up the leg disproportionately.
